Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

In February, Aberdeen’s streets and public spaces host Spectra, a free, after-dark festival of light and art. There are over a dozen installations, from projection mapping on Marischal College to interactive arches, pedestrian-sensitive lighting and mobile artworks. Some are designed with community groups, others rely on audience participation. There are augmented reality pieces, installations to walk through, and temporary works that change with movement. Events run nightly from 4pm to 8pm. Free evening bus travel is offered across the city. The festival draws thousands each year with its changing, temporary cityscape.
