Ballater Victoria Week

Volunteers started Victoria Week in 1987, partly to mark 150 years since Queen Victoria's accession and partly to raise money to do up the Victoria and Albert Halls. It has run every year since. The programme spreads across the village for nine days and wraps around the Highland Games on the Thursday, so time it right and you get both. Scarecrow Trail, a duck race on the Green, the Rufts dog show, hobby horse trials, a roller disco, quizzes and ceilidhs. Most of it happens at the Victoria and Albert Halls or on Ballater Church Green. Parking in the village is free.
