Red Point – Pony Trekking by the Sea Near Gairloch

A few hours.

The route

Gairloch Trekking Centre keeps its well-mannered native ponies and horses on a croft by the sea at Red Point, south-west of Gairloch.

Treks run from a quarter of an hour to an hour or more, with lead-rein walk-outs for little ones and longer rides for anyone who wants more time in the saddle. It's a gentle, lovely way to see this end of Wester Ross.
