Tomintoul Highland Games

Tomintoul Highland Games are held in the village of Tomintoul in the Cairngorms. The programme features classic events such as caber tossing, hammer throw and shot put alongside track races, piping, Highland dancing and solo competitions. Round the field there are trade stalls, local food and drink, children’s activities and a crowd on the sidelines cheering the competitors. Tomintoul is one of the highest villages in Scotland, with hills and moorland all round.
