Some of the UK's most celebrated chefs are heading north this November, and you don't need a trip to London to taste their cooking.

Matthew Zajac's The Tailor of Inverness has been seen by more than 40,000 people, in big city theatres and tiny village halls, and on Tuesday 17 November you can see it in a church hall in Aboyne. Zajac tells the story of his Polish-Ukrainian father, the tailor of the title, and of displacement and survival in war-torn Europe, in a performance The Observer called a triumph. It has played from New York and Adelaide to Kyiv and Berlin, and this is its first Scottish tour since 2019. The show starts at 7.30pm and is for ages 10 and over. Tickets are £15 for adults and £10 for under-18s from the North East Arts Touring website.
