Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.
The Circus of Dreams is theatre on a tiny scale. Vision Mechanics have built a miniature big top on a handcrafted, solar-powered stage, and inside it marionettes, music, shadow animation and storytelling follow Winston Khan, a young tiger looking for where he belongs, past flying pandas and juggling sheep. It's made by the Scottish marionette artists Symon Macintyre and Kim Bergsagel, and it's part of the Findhorn Bay Festival. Shows are at Logie Steading near Forres until Sunday 4 October, at 11am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm most days. Each one lasts 40 minutes and seats just 30, suits ages 9 and up, and tickets are £8 to £15.
