Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

Braemar Castle is run by the village, and over the October tattie holidays it opens its doors to children with a week of hour-long crafts and stories. Make a haggis creature on Friday 16 October, play drama games on Saturday 17, craft a Halloween dream catcher on Sunday 18, and settle in for storytime with Sabine Muir on Friday 23. On Saturday 24 there's finger-loop braiding for children at 11am and a spinning and woolwork session for adults at 1pm. Sessions are aimed at primary-age children and cost £3 a child with a drink and a snack, and adults come free. Spaces are limited, so email info@braemarcastle.co.uk to book.
