Tain Highland Gathering

Tain Highland Gathering is held in Tain, Easter Ross offering a programme of traditional Highland games events. Competition includes track and field style athletic contests, heavy-weight games such as caber toss and hammer throw, pipe band performances and solo piping and drumming. It is held in an open field, usually with stalls, refreshments and entertainment for families.
