Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

For one week every autumn, Shetland turns into the knitting capital of the world, and it's a joy even if you've never picked up a needle. Wool Week fills halls, crofts, shops and studios from Unst down to the South Mainland with classes, talks, tours and exhibitions. There are plenty of chances to sit down with a cup of tea and talk wool, too. This year's patron is the designer Helen Robertson, who brings Shetland tradition up to date and leads tours to Unst, Ollaberry and Whalsay. It runs from 27 September to 3 October, and most events are booked through the Wool Week box office online.
