Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

For the eighth October running, Westerton Farm in the Howe o' the Mearns gives a field over to pumpkins. Book a session, pick your own from the patch and find your way through the bale maze, then stay on for the goats, chickens and alpacas and a barn full of bouncy castles. One ticket covers the car and everyone in it. Pumpkins and the indoor play are paid for on top, with wristbands for the barn at £5.50 a child bought ahead, and tractor rides at weekends. Bring wellies and some cash: the patch is grass, and the nearest cash machine is in Laurencekirk. It runs every day from 9 to 25 October, a few miles off the A90.
