Signature Food Festival
Some of the UK's most celebrated chefs are heading north this November, and you don't need a trip to London to taste their cooking.

If you've never seen Peatbog Faeries live, The Barn in Banchory is a good place to put that right. The band have been filling festival fields for years with their mix of Highland pipes, fiddle, whistles, sax and keyboards over rhythms that are impossible to stand still to, and on Friday 13 November they bring the whole show to the arts centre at Burn O'Bennie. It's a small room, so you'll be close to the stage with space to dance. The music starts at 8pm. Tickets are £28.50 and can be booked through The Barn's website.
