Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

Skye Bridge Studios, the small arts centre in Kyle's old schoolhouse on Main Street, has a night of storytelling on Friday 2 October. Finnish-born storyteller Riikka Palonen tells the old star myths of Finland and the Baltic. You will hear how the world was made from star dust, who married the girl from the golden egg, and how the first oak was cut down. Folk musician Richard Clarke plays alongside. The show opened the Scottish International Storytelling Festival in 2025 and has since been to Orkney and Crail. It's family friendly and runs for about an hour from 7.30pm. Tickets are £15, or £12 concession, from the studios' website.
