Móti: The First Ten Years

The Pier Arts Centre sits right on the water in Stromness, and this autumn it's showing the work of Orkney's own artists. Móti is a collective of art and design graduates who studied in Orkney, came back to the islands or chose to make their lives there, and this exhibition marks its first ten years. You'll find photography, sculpture, printmaking and textiles, all by people working on the islands today. It's a good excuse for a wander along Stromness's main street afterwards. Móti: The First Ten Years is at the Pier Arts Centre, Victoria Street, Stromness, from 17 October to 24 December, and admission is free.
