Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

Gallery An Talla Dearg sits on the shore by the old stone pier at Eilean Iarmain, and from 9 to 28 October its walls belong to Liz Myhill. She paints and makes prints of wildlife and wild places, and she works outside in all weathers, so each picture carries the wind and light of the day it was made. It's a solo show in the gallery's small room by the Sound of Sleat, and the gallery likes its artists to be there and working while their shows are on. Open Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm, and Sundays 12 to 4pm.
