John Bellany came back to the fishing communities of the east of Scotland again and again in his paintings, and they show just how hard life at sea could be. This autumn the Scottish Fisheries Museum on the harbour in Anstruther gathers his pictures of that world, from its own collection and on loan from the Royal Scottish Academy. It is part of the Academy's 200th year, and two of the paintings are on public show for the first time. The exhibition runs until 30 November, from 10am to 4.30pm.
