Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

Inverness holds its first Fringe Festival from Monday 28 September to Sunday 4 October, with theatre, comedy, cabaret and music across the city centre. There's drag, slam poetry, spoken word, band nights and workshops, with plenty of artists based in or from the Highlands. The Botanic Gardens join in with a punk night midweek, a country night on Friday and a spoken word and rap showcase on Saturday.
Venues include An Seòmar, Upstairs Inverness, MacGregor's and the Victorian Market. Some shows are ticketed and others are donation-only, with the money going straight to the artists. The full programme and tickets are on the festival's website.
