Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

Glen Tanar's pinewoods are beautiful by day, and on Saturday 24 October you can see them by headtorch instead. The Illuminator is a night trail race across the estate near Aboyne, with an 8km and a 15km route open to runners and walkers alike, and a 15-mile race for anyone after a real test. The paths wind through the pines and out onto open moorland, with nothing but torchlight and, on a clear night, a sky full of stars. The evening gets going from 6.30pm. Enter online on the Illuminator's website, where you'll also find the kit list and the athlete guide.
