Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

Three of the finest links courses in the Highlands share one tournament at the end of September. The Highland Golf Links Pro Am brings teams of amateurs and their professionals from around the world for three days of golf, a round each on the Championship Course at Royal Dornoch, at Nairn Golf Club on the Moray Firth, and at Cabot Highlands just outside Inverness. It is a golf trip and a competition at once, and all three courses sit right by the sea. The Pro Am runs from Monday 28 to Wednesday 30 September, and entries and the draw are on the event's own website.
