Halloween Trail of Treats

If you have wee ones to entertain over the October holidays, the Gonks of Gardenshillock near Fintray is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. The storybook trail is inspired by Samantha Annal's children's books, and for Halloween it winds through the meadow past the Gonks' decorated homes, with doorbells to ring, tasks to complete and surprises along the way. There's a play park too, and the adventure ends round the fire with toasted marshmallow s'mores. The Trail of Treats runs daily from 10 to 25 October, and tickets are booked online through the Gonks' website.
