Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

Drum Castle is a lovely place for an autumn day out, with its old oak wood, walled rose garden and 700-year-old tower, and over the October holidays it has a Halloween trail for families. From Thursday 22 to Saturday 31 October, follow the spooky path around the pond and see what's hiding along the way. If you're there a week earlier, the castle also runs a family woodland and art morning on Thursday 15 October, with nature activities, a look at the Ash Rise exhibition of work made from Scottish ash, and a leaf-print bag to make and take home, for children aged 7 and over. Details and booking for the family morning are on Drum Castle's page on the National Trust for Scotland website.
