Signature Food Festival
Some of the UK's most celebrated chefs are heading north this November, and you don't need a trip to London to taste their cooking.

Haddo House holds its Christmas craft fair on 7 and 8 November, and it's a cosy way to start thinking about presents. Makers fill four indoor rooms with handmade Scottish work, and carol singers and musicians play through the day. Children can press Haddo-grown apples into fresh juice and post their letters to Santa. There's hot mulled cider, food trucks and the Courtyard Café, and the autumn gardens are there to wander.
It opens at 10am on both days at Haddo House, near Methlick, AB41 7EQ. Tickets are £3.77 for adults and £2.71 for children. Book ahead through Eventbrite for easy entry on the day.
