Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

There's nothing quite like the sound of pink-footed geese coming in over Montrose Basin on an October evening. GooseFest celebrates their return with eleven days of events at the Scottish Wildlife Trust's reserve and around the town. You can join a pink sunset evening to watch the skeins land, help with a goose count or follow the goose trail through Montrose. On 4 October there is an early goose watch followed by breakfast at House of Dun. There are family activities at the visitor centre too. Wrap up warm and bring binoculars. GooseFest runs from 1 to 11 October, and some events need booking ahead.
