Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

There's a real joy to walking into a gallery where the paintings won't stay on the canvas, and France-Lise McGurn's show at Dundee Contemporary Arts is exactly that. The Glasgow painter, who studied at Duncan of Jordanstone in Dundee, fills both galleries with paintings, drawings and pieces brought straight from her studio, and paints her quick, flowing figures right onto the walls around them. It's her largest show in a UK gallery, and it runs until 15 November.
Entry is free. The galleries open Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 6pm, until 7pm on Thursdays, and the DCA cinema is showing films she has chosen to go alongside it.
