Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.
There's nothing quite like live folk music in a village hall on an autumn night, and Skeabost is a lovely spot for it. Dallahan are a four-piece of guitar, banjo, accordion and fiddle, and their music starts in the traditions of Scotland and Ireland before wandering off to the Balkans and North America. Expect fast tunes, good songs and a warm room. The concert is brought to Skye by SEALL, who book music into halls all over the island. Dallahan play Skeabost Memorial Hall, Skeabost Bridge, on Saturday 3 October at 7.30pm. Tickets are £22, or £19 concession, from seall.co.uk.
