Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

The Crafty Guidwives of Speyside bring traditional crafts to Braemar Castle on Saturday 24 October. They'll be around the castle showing spinning, weaving and other wool work. You can learn about the process and the history of these old skills as you go. The castle reopened in May 2024 after extensive conservation work.
The displays are included in normal castle entry, so there's nothing extra to pay. It falls in the October school holidays, when the castle also runs craft workshops for children, which makes it an easy day out for the whole family.
