Signature Food Festival
Some of the UK's most celebrated chefs are heading north this November, and you don't need a trip to London to taste their cooking.
House for an Art Lover, in Glasgow's Bellahouston Park, opens its doors for a day of Christmas shopping at the end of November. Makers set out their stalls through the house with handmade gifts: jewellery, artwork, woodwork, glassware, soaps, candles and cards, along with festive food to take home. It is a good excuse to see the house, and the park around it makes a fine winter walk before or after. Sunday 29 November, 11am to 3pm, free entry, at 10 Dumbreck Road, Glasgow G41 5BW.
