Aghaidh Ris An Achadh – Facing The Field
Taigh Chearsabhagh in Lochmaddy has given both of its galleries this winter to Aghaidh Ris An Achadh, Facing The Field, a show about what happens to a township when the people leave.
The Carrick Festival of Light fills an autumn evening in Girvan, on the South Ayrshire coast. On Saturday 24 October a parade sets off from the Glendoune Centre at 6.30pm, and at 7pm there's a performance on the shorefront. It's a good reason to be in Girvan as the nights draw in, so wrap up warm and find a spot by the sea in time for the show. Times can change, so check the council's Connect South Ayrshire page before you set off.
