Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.
Braemar Folk Festival

The Braemar Folk Festival fills the village with music for a weekend in October. The mainstage concerts are held at St Margaret's, the lovely old church in the village that is now an arts venue. Cala, Astro Bloc, the Ellie Beaton Trio, FRAS and Rosie H Sullivan are among this year's line-up. Around them, pubs and cosy rooms across the village come alive with sessions, workshops and informal acoustic sets. Bring your walking boots for the daytime and something warm for the evening. The festival runs from 2 to 4 October, with tickets on the festival's website.
