Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.
There aren't many nicer ways to hear live music than on the deck of a steamship on Loch Katrine. The Steamship Sir Walter Scott has been sailing the loch since 1900, and for the Callander Jazz and Blues Festival she's putting on two special two-hour cruises with a band on board. On Saturday it's the blues, with the Sandy Tweeddale and Chris Agnew Duo, and on Sunday it's jazz, with the Allan McKeown and Andy Sharkey Duo, while the hills of the Trossachs slide past. Both cruises sail from Trossachs Pier at 2.30pm and are back at 4.30pm, on 3 and 4 October. Tickets are booked through Loch Katrine's website.
