Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

The Barn in Banchory gives over Wednesday 21 October to a day of making and storytelling in the footsteps of St Ternan, a Pictish saint. The story goes that he grew up under the Merry Dancers, sailed to Orkney and came home with a bell. He settled on the banks of the Dee, in the place that still bears his name. Artist Elspeth Murray leads the day.
It starts at 10.30am and lunch is included. Entry is free, with a pay-what-you-can option if you'd like to give something. It's for adults and children aged 8 and up, and you can book a place through The Barn.
