Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

Troon's seafront halls fill with casks every October for the Ayrshire Beer and Cider Festival, and this year it reaches its 25th year. Over three days you can work your way through more than 150 real ales from breweries across the country, with around 25 real ciders and perries alongside, and there's live music in the evenings. It runs from Thursday 1 to Saturday 3 October at Troon Concert Hall on South Beach, opening to the public from 2pm on the Thursday and 11am on the Friday and Saturday. There are no advance tickets: you pay on the door and buy £10 token cards for the bar, with anything unused refunded or given to The Fishermen's Mission.
