Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

Scotland's Gaelic theatre company is ten years old, and it's marking the birthday with a night of its best work at Las in Portree. An t-Ùrlar as Àirde, The Highest Stage, brings together scenes from four of Theatre Gu Leòr's landmark shows, from Shrapnel to Stornoway, Quebec, played by a cast of five on a simple stage. It's all in Gaelic, but you don't need a word of it to enjoy the evening, as English synopses are provided. There's some strong language, so it suits grown-ups best. It's on Friday 2 October at 7.30pm, presented with SEALL, in the theatre at the Isle of Skye Candle Co. visitor centre on Viewfield Road.
