Remote Links Worth the Journey

There's something special about a round of golf that takes a bit of getting to. Whether it's a ferry across to an island or a long drive to the end of a peninsula, these are the links where the journey is part of the adventure.

Some of the most memorable golf in Scotland is found a long way from the nearest city. These links take a bit of planning, whether that means a ferry, a short flight or a few hours in the car, but that's a big part of their charm. When you get there, you'll find the sea right beside you for much of the round and a warm welcome in the clubhouse.

There's history out here too, with courses laid out by Old Tom Morris and one that was lost for decades before it was found again and brought back to life. Make a trip of it, with a night or two nearby, and you'll have a story to tell back at your home club for years to come.
