Loch Lomond’s Ardlui Resort for Sale — Only Second Time in 250 Years

Ardlui Resort, a 250-year-old estate on the north corner of Loch Lomond, is on the market for £7 million—the first sale in 250 years. Originally built as a hunting lodge by the Colquhoun family and serving as a hotel since 1886, it’s been owned by the Squires family since 1978. The sale includes a three-star hotel, licensed holiday park, self-catering lodges, a 100-berth marina, and two lochside homes. The Squires say it’s a rare chance for someone to build on a beloved Highland destination with multiple income streams.
