Glasgow on the big screen.

Glasgow's streets and parks have stood in for cities all over the world, and for other times too. The Gothic university on Gilmorehill, the medieval cathedral and a cobbled lane strung with lights off Byres Road have all appeared on screen. So have the city's great parks, from the old Maxwell estate on the south side to a wooded river gorge on the edge of East Kilbride. Look closely and you'll spot them.
