Parks along the Clyde.

Glasgow has more than ninety parks and gardens, which is how it earned its old name, the Dear Green Place. Walk the old Maxwell estate on the south side, the city's largest park, where Highland cattle graze. Or follow the Clyde Walkway from the city centre upriver towards the falls at New Lanark. Even the mural trail through town is a good walk. Bring a waterproof, as the weather changes fast.
