The owners of the luxury Fife Arms Hotel plan to transform Braemar Kirk into a new cultural hub. The Victorian church, near the hotel, will be repurposed for exhibitions, events, and community activities. It would give Braemar more room for art, and keep a piece of the village's history in use.
The domed brick drum on the north bank of the Clyde, opposite the Radisson RED at the SEC campus, is to open again in May 2027 as The Rotunda and Roundhouse.
