Aberdeen’s £50 million beachfront redevelopment includes a new playpark inspired by the city’s rope-making heritage. Central to the design is a 23-metre-high Sky Tower with interconnected rope structures and slides.
The park features four themed zones. The Village is aimed at younger children, The Woodlands encourages forest exploration, The Glens reflects Aberdeenshire’s countryside, and the Sky Tower offers adventurous play for older children.
Designed by the team behind Alnwick Garden’s Lilidorei, the playpark is part of the city’s wider regeneration plans along the beach.
