Scotland sizzled with its hottest day of 2025 on 12 July, reaching over 32C in Aviemore, as part of the UK's third heatwave peaking at 33C nationwide. Sunshine dominated, with light winds and dry conditions heightening fire risks in the Highlands.
The domed brick drum on the north bank of the Clyde, opposite the Radisson RED at the SEC campus, is to open again in May 2027 as The Rotunda and Roundhouse.
