Scottish poet Len Pennie has collaborated with Hollywood composer Paul Leonard-Morgan on an album, Delusions, setting ten of her poems to classical compositions.
Despite contrasting personalities (Pennie describing herself as “Eeyore” to Leonard-Morgan’s “Tigger”), the duo recorded the project in a marathon session at Maryhill’s Clockwork Studios.
The album mixes strings, synths and electric guitars. The album was on the bill at Celtic Connections 2026.
The domed brick drum on the north bank of the Clyde, opposite the Radisson RED at the SEC campus, is to open again in May 2027 as The Rotunda and Roundhouse.
