V&A Dundee has announced plans for a major revamp ahead of its tenth anniversary in 2028. The museum is preparing a multi-million-pound fundraising drive to redesign its open spaces and expand the Scottish Design Galleries. The changes follow visitor feedback and aim to display more objects and stories linked to Scottish and Dundee design. Since opening in 2018, the building designed by Kengo Kuma has welcomed more than 2.5 million visitors. The updated galleries will draw on collections from across Scotland and beyond, with consultation planned later this year.
