Paisley has been honoured as Scotland’s Town of the Year for 2025, recognised for its striking transformation and community‑led regeneration.

The accolade comes after over £100 million of investment in its cultural, civic and housing infrastructure, including a redeveloped town hall, a new library‑hub, and a state‑of‑the‑art school campus.

Judges praised the town’s reinvention and its welcome for new businesses, residents and visitors. Local leaders and long‑standing businesses say the award signals fresh confidence for Paisley.
