This year’s Wigtown Book Festival will not only bring authors, talks and events to Scotland’s National Book Town but will also be the backdrop for a new short film.
Director Jessica Fox and cinematographer Ben Please are producing Wigtown – The Movie, a 15-minute piece capturing the festival’s energy and community spirit.

Festival director Adrian Turpin, leading his final programme before stepping down, said the project reflects the creativity that defines Wigtown.
