Introduction
Santa returns to Milton of Crathes in beautiful Royal Deeside every Saturday and Sunday from 29 November to 21 December 2025. Visitors receive refreshments on the platform before boarding the steam train for a short ride with festive singing through the surrounding countryside. On return, children visit Santa in the grotto, where elves ensure gifts suit each age group. Trains carry up to 25 children per service, with self-allocated seating, and the full experience lasts around 30–45 minutes. Ample free parking is available, and tickets must be booked online in advance.
