Glasgow International returns for its 11th edition across venues throughout the city. Free and open to all, the 18 day festival presents exhibitions, performances and discursive events featuring over 50 local and international artists. Developed under Director Helen Nisbet, the programme foregrounds independent artistic practice, collaboration and critical exchange. Projects take place in museums, galleries, artist run spaces and civic sites including GoMA, Tramway, The Hunterian and The Glasgow School of Art. Newly commissioned work is presented alongside open submission projects by Glasgow based artists and curators, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to collective practice and the city’s visual art ecology.
