On Sunday, 25 January 2026, Stirling Castle invites visitors to Burns an’ a’ that, a day celebrating the life and work of Robert Burns. In 1787, Burns visited the castle and later etched the famous Stirling Lines at his hotel. This event brings history to life with interactive activities, including the chance to try your hand at addressing the haggis, a cherished Burns Night tradition. Suitable for all ages, the event offers insight into Burns’ connection to Stirling while enjoying the castle’s historic surroundings. Entry is free for Historic Scotland members.
