The Atholl Gathering returns to the grounds of Blair Castle with a full day of Highland games and heritage events. The programme begins with a ceremonial parade by the Atholl Highlanders and continues with classic games such as tossing the caber, putting the shot and hammer throw, piping and Highland dancing competitions, tug of war and races. Trade stalls, refreshments and children’s attractions add a family friendly atmosphere to the event. The gathering celebrates Scottish sport, culture and community in a historic estate setting.
