Taste North

1 November · Caithness

1November

Taste North gathers food and drink from the far north under one roof at the East Caithness Community Facility, beside Wick High School. You can work your way round more than fifty stalls: whisky and gin from the local distilleries, cheese, baking, smoked fish, and crafts between them. In the cookery theatre, Jody Sinclair of The Galley at Scrabster shows how to make simple sauces and later takes on a mystery bag of ingredients, and a cocktail class uses spirits made nearby. The Taste North Challenge winners are named in the early afternoon. It runs from 11am to 4pm on Sunday 1 November, and entry is free.
