Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.
Glasgow turns its ears to Sonica this autumn, and it's a big one. For eleven days the city's venues fill with sound and light art. At Pollok House there are singing sculptures, mechanical birds and immersive rooms across three floors and the gardens, and robotic artworks follow shoppers around Buchanan Galleries. Dinos Chapman opens the festival, and synthesiser pioneer Suzanne Ciani plays her first show in Scotland to close it. Sonica runs from 24 September to 4 October at venues including Tramway, Govanhill Baths and the Hunterian Art Gallery. The installations are free to see, and passes for the performances start at £45.
