On Friday the 1st and Saturday the 2nd of August, the Perth Show takes over South Inch under the banner of the Perthshire Agricultural Society. It’s a two‑day agricultural event featuring Clydesdale and Highland cattle, ponies, sheep and goats alongside show‑jumping and heavy‑horse demonstrations. Vintage tractors and machinery line up as working exhibits, while local food and drink stalls run alongside arts and crafts from regional makers. Children’s attractions include bouncy castles, Segway rides and hands‑on farm‑style games, with judging starting at 8.30 am each day. Parking is on site, and tickets can be bought in advance.
